Increasing Site Traffic by Citing Others
I was reviewing the traffic logs to see where my visitors (that’s you) are coming from, and how you were referred to my site. I happily discovered that some of you came here because of a link in technoratti … where the search term was ‘sassy lawyer’.
It seems that one of my articles contained a reference to Sassy Lawyer’s website houseonahill.net (a famous b*log) ooppss…i just found out that not only is she famous, her site just happens to be the TOP #1 Philippine B*log according to technoratti and posted by yugatech! —And it was this link that provided the link from technoratti back to my site here.
So one happy surprise is the lesson of the day. Cite other people’s work (of course, only the worthy ones…) and you increase your site’s traffic.
