Not True says Google
I emailed Google with this snippet i read from Search Engine Fast Start by Dan Thies :
To get accurate data, set your campaign options to limit distribution to Google.com only. You do this by making sure the boxes that say “search sites in Google’s network” and “content sites in Google’s network” are unchecked in the “campaign settings” screen. This keeps your ad from being displayed on AOL, among other places
I was concerned, because some of my adwords campaign enabled the ads to show in google content network. And the statistics that i get may not be accurate, if the above quote has any truth to it.
I got this response from google, bellying any truth to the statement above:
Thank you for your email regarding an article commenting on our distribution settings. Your data will always be accurate, regardless of the distribution settings you choose.
