Zune Wireless..not worthless
From: http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/zune-s-wireless-functionalities-explained/2006-10-02
A Microsoft employee was kind enough to explain the wireless capabilities of its new Zune personal media player. The list diffuses much of the hype that has been circulating the Internet in recent months.
The Zune can:
search for and find other nearby Zunes
send songs back after a three day or three “listens” trial run
send and receive image files
The Zune can’t:
connect to the Internet
download songs from the Zune store via WiFi
sync to a computer via WiFi
That hissing sound is the Zune bubble bursting. For more on the PMP:

I have received an email that Microsoft may be planning a new release to let the Zune sync contents on the PC via the wireless as well. I do hope Microsoft can allow the zune to connect to the internet and increase its value. ONce it can do that, can i remotely play the music on my internet connected zune, from anywhere on the net? much like sling media box can do?
