Sonic Wall Security Breach
Posted on December 13th, 2008 by wilson
Computerworld just reported in their Dec 8, 2008 edition that several customers of Sonic wall were up in arms for Sonic Walls’ failure in keeping their networks secure.
Apparently, what happened in this case was that the license server at Sonic wall had ‘problems’. This then inactivated the service of Sonic wall to these affected customers. The result was tons of spam and virus came pouring into their networks.
Tsk tsk, i wouldnt want to be in the shoes of the system admin who oversaw this.
