Seeking market share, Microsoft removes WGA anti-piracy check from IE7

This blog reports that microsoft’s Internet Explorer 7 does not have WGA “imposed on it anymore”. This was a long time coming, and with the rise in popularity of Firefox, expectations were high. Now, according to a post on Microsoft’s IE blog, this WGA check is going away. Speculations are rife that this move was made to increase user acceptance of IE7. vs Firefox
