Office Communications Server 2007 MCU fails to start

Guys, has anyone encountered this problem with Office Communications Server 2007, Standard edition? I installed it on a windows 2003 sp2 server.

I followed the steps outlined by Ron Barrett’s book “How to Cheat at Administering Office Communications Server 2007”. I installed an enterprise root CA, created the needed _sipinternalTLS SRV record, but on the ‘start services’ step, I encountered this error:

Service Name: RTCAVMCU
Descriptive Name: Office Communications Server Audio/Video Conferencing
Service Status: Error
Failure
[0xC3EC79E6] Service failed to start as requested.

All the other services were started successfully. A look at the event logs shows the following error:

Failed to start service for the following reasons Attempted to divide by zero.
