Comment spam on the prepys.com has grown significantly over the past few weeks. We have done our best to control it, but they keep coming back. It uses up our resources and causes the “WordPress Database Error” you see from time to time.

It is a pain in our —–, and fortunately, Ed Kohler wrote about this as well, and i got a lot of new ideas on how to deal with this from his article, and from the comments in it as well. In particular, i will be putting in Akismet on all the prepys.com sites and see how well it handles the comment spam, and its related usage on our cpu, and memory resources.

Here is hoping to say goodbye to those comment spam.
