Get Googled Almost immediately
According to Chris Lee in his ‘Keyword Master’s Course”, it could take about 2-3 months for Google’s spider to go visit your site and have it indexed. Without this, any search term entered by potential visitors will not list your site in the search results page.
What does this mean for your brand new site? Well, almost no visitors will be referred from the google search pages. That is a bummer. Trust me, you dont want that to happen. You want your site to be listed whenever a potential visitor searches on google for keywords that are highly relevant to your website. You want more visitors.
So how do you get a ‘shortcut’? Well, in the same article, Chris Lee has this suggestion: Get Google adwords campaign! Having your ads on the google network will result in the google spider going into your site almost immediately. You get a 2-3 month shortcut and google will show results that are related to the keywords that you choose to optimize your page for. Pretty smart idea!
How to optimize your website for those keywords? Well, im still learning how. One way to do it would be to join a dedicated newsgroup that is devoted to the subject. I’m recommending Marc’s SEO Philippines.
