I frequently encounter this problem. I can see that SSEE is installed, but there is no way to get to it from the Management Studio. Finally, MSDENuser181 in this post http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=949426&SiteID=1 came up with the simplest solution I have seen: When connecting to the database, use this as the “Server Name”: \\.\pipe\mssql$microsoft##ssee\sql\query
