Blogroll Image Link Does Not Work

I am trying to copy Blackboard’s technic in using image ads to show up in my blogrolls. I have used wordpress’ image link on the [Add a Link] menu, and have made sure that i have set the image to be [Visible].
However, the links still come out as TEXT links. It may be a plug in or a toggle i have to set. I will work on this some more during the next few days.

Here’s how I did it (after several trials and errors): In your link categories, just check show images. Then in the actual link, set the image to visible. Add the image url and the image will now be visible. Be sure to have small images for the blogroll or the other link categories.
Thank you for the tip. In addition to the image size and the actual link, i found that my problem in this case, was that the LINK CATEGORY that i was posting the link to, did not [show images].
This was quickly fixed by logging in with admin account, and going into the LINK/LINK Category/ Show Images
