Back during the old days, US robotics (or was it a BBS program )  said that: “Any sufficiently advanced technology would seem like magic to the ordinary mortals”…or words to the effect.

I remember using Visicalc to do my 10 year financial projections for a college project in about 1/10 the time. That got me hooked to computers and to the promise of savings…

I have been a techie ever since.

    My name is Patrick Finnemore and I am one of the founders of VoIP Made Easy.co.uk, a new site dedicated to promote the use of VoIP technologies in the UK. Due to the theme of your site Diary of a Techie I thought you may be interested in it. We are a few fans of VoIP technologies that have joined forces to put this site together. In VoIP Made Easy you can find some VoIP inspired funny pictures and, more importantly, what we think are useful informational articles about VoIP. You can also find a downloadable PDF guide with all the important facts and information on VoIP technology. Our aim is to try and spread the word about this technology in the UK and get as many people as possible to start enjoying all the benefits it can offer.

    As we have just started, we would be really grateful if you could have a look at the site and let us know what you think. Any suggestions are welcome. Of course, if you like it, please feel free to feature it or link to it in any way you think it could be appropriate. As we are starting we need as much support as we can get.
